The Genesis: From a Spark to the Stars

It began in 2020 with a single vision—to capture the vastness of the cosmos on a tabletop. Our founder envisioned a sport that wasn’t just played, but felt. This gave birth to YoTyan. Our logo, a child gazing up at the stars, reflects our core philosophy of maintaining a sense of wonder and curiosity in everything we do. But bringing this universe to life required a journey of relentless experimentation, starting with the fundamental rejection of the flat surface. We knew from the start that the YoTyan board must defy gravity with an upward incline, creating a literal uphill battle that demands both finesse and focus.

The Evolution of the Orbit

The path to the final design was paved with countless prototypes and “Star Chart” configurations. In our early lab sessions, we explored every possible way to define the rules of engagement. We even experimented with physical alarms—placing bells at the release line that would ring at the slightest foul, signaling a breach of the game’s cosmic order. Each iteration brought us closer to the perfect balance, refining the launch zones and calibration points until the interaction between the player and the board felt intuitive yet challenging.

To ensure YoTyan earned its place among the greats, we conducted deep comparative studies with almost every popular ball sport known today. From the density of a billiard ball to the flight of a golf ball, we analyzed their physics to create something entirely unique. We tested dozens of materials and weights to develop our signature resin-stone spheres—planets in miniature that possess the perfect inertia to navigate our 4.99-degree slope. This wasn’t just about building a game; it was about researching the very soul of motion to create a sport that honors the past while pointing firmly toward the stars.

The definitive version. Tested for maximum versatility, it features a 2.3m x 1.3m optimized frame. By using HENF-grade eco-friendly boards, we reduced the weight to just 180kg (397 lbs). It is durable, sustainable, and the perfect fit for any modern space.

Second Generation

The Heavy Transition

We reduced the size to 2.2m x 1.3m, yet the reliance on traditional marble kept it at a staggering 479kg (1056 lbs). This version remained fragile during shipping and too heavy for easy home installation.

First Generation

The Experimental Giant

Our initial design was an ambitious 6m x 2.5m giant. While it proved the game’s potential, its massive footprint and heavy marble construction made it impractical for most environments and nearly impossible to transport.
